Nota Bene: I take no responsibility for any damage done to your system. Please proceed with care.

The menu is simpler than the on the PS3.
Also the Xbox 360 ventilator and the DVD-ROM are somewhat louder then the ones in the PS3.

As with the PS3, games start in the language as the one selected for the console, hence, games will start in English if this is the selected language of the system.

Backwards Compatibility for old Xbox games:
Well it is a whole lot of bullshit & chips (as Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw once put it so nicely). This works via an emulator which is downloaded automatically, but not all games are supported and not all are emulated in a playable way (gameplay is jerking and not as fluent as it should be). In addition, the emulation was discontinued in May 2009.
A list of playable games can be found here:

Changing the hard drive on a XBox 360:

More trouble than on a PS3.

Controller vibration has to be turned off in the individual profile settings:
1) Select your profile.
2) Press the Xbox Button on the controller.
3) Settings --> Preferences --> Vibration

Crashes:
Sometimes the xBox just freezes during game play. There seems to be no relation to the amount of time the xBox has been used or if the game is installd to HD or not.
# of Crashes.
Lego Indiana Jones 2: 2
Oblivion: 1

Date and Time:
The clock inside the xBox does not have a power cell, hence, it always resets to a date in the year 2005. The clock will be synchronized with the one on the xBox Live servers if one logs on.

Deleting a profile on the Xbox 360:
1) My Xbox --> System Settings --> Memory
2) Select HD or medium the profile is stored on.
3) Go to Gamer Profiles.
4) Select Profile --> now the option to delete or move it will appear.
or
1) Press the Xbox Button on the controller.
2) Settings --> System Settings --> Memory
3) Select HD or medium the profile is stored on.
4) Go to Gamer Profiles.
5) Select Profile --> now the option to delete or move it will appear.

German only games:
The following games will be available in German only here in central Europe (English version has to be ordered from the U.K.):

- Dark Messiah of Might and Magic - Elements
- Dragon Age: Origins
Note: The PS3 version has English & German audio.
- Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- Fable II
Note: Apparently it is possible to download the English files via XBox Live.
- Fallout 3
- Mass Effect
- Red Faction Guerrilla

Installing games to the Xbox 360 Hard Drive:
-) My Xbox --> (Y) Game Details --> Install to Hard Drive
The game still requires the DVD to play it.
This decreases loading times a little and relieves the DVD-ROM.
Installing a game in one language and then inserting the DVD of the same game in another language, will cause the game to be loaded from the DVD as if it has not been installed previously.
