Note: Content will be updated in irregular intervals.

The Battery:
The battery will be completely charged within 2 hours, but needs to be recharged after 5 hours of use. The PSP will then tell the user that the battery is empty and shut down, saving the position of the game that is currently running.
The Power led will start to flash when the battery is almost empty, but since it is positioned at the bottom right of the PSP, it will usually be blocked by the user's right thumb.
The PSP can be turned off during game play. The game will be saved as described above and can be continued, once it is turned on again.

The Discs and the Disc Drive:
Games on the PSP come on so-called UMDs (Universal Media Disc; 6 cm diameter). Loading speed is most of the time far from optimal.
Movies are also sold on the UMD format.

Internet on the PSP (via WLAN):
Some screenshot can be seen under
Chill out --> Wenn uns fad wird... (http://xplodinghead.org/fluxbb/viewtopic.php?id=14)
Loading speed of pages is not the best and the screen is too small (9,5 x 5,5 cm) to show pages completely, hence, one has to scroll the pages not only up and down, but also right and left. In addition, typing in text on the PSP is not something that is done very fast.

The Menu:
The main menu is accessed by pressing left or right on the directional buttons or the analog stick. Down and up for the sub-menus.

IMHO the PSP is too big and too heavy for a hand-held console. The Gameboy Advance (or GBA SP) or the Nintendo DS is better suited to take along.
